Evolutio, a leading Spanish company in the integration of cloud services, acquires Warpcom to reinforce the positioning of both companies in the Iberian market

Warpcom will continue to operate under its current brand in the Iberian market. The operation’s objective is to complement offers, share capabilities and grow in large markets.

Lisbon, November 18, 2021 – Warpcom, an Iberian ICT company, has just been acquired by Evolutio, a Spanish multinational company specialized in the integration of cloud services. This operation will make it possible to create synergies that favor the growth of both companies, leadership in the Iberian market and the reinforcement of the investment on the international market.

Evolutio is one of the largest Spanish companies in the integration of cloud services and is a leader in the areas of customer experience and digital workplace – complementary to Warpcom’s main lines of business. Evolutio’s customer base is essentially composed of large Spanish companies with global operations and a high level of loyalty.

Warpcom is a leading technology integrator, with over 20 years of experience and offices in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Madrid (and 14 other support locations and an innovation hub), where it has a team of 130 professionals and an extensive network of world-class software and hardware partners. Its offer includes solutions in four business areas: Networking & Infrastructure, Collaboration & Customer Experience, Data Center & Multi Cloud and Cybersecurity. The company, which will continue to operate under its brand, has state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and throughout its history, it has earned the trust of more than 2,000 customers.

For Carlos Inocêncio, Chairman of Warpcom, “This is a unique opportunity to become the leader of the Iberian market in key sectors of the economy and point batteries to major international markets. Warpcom will bring to Evolutio strong technological know-how in areas such as Cybersecurity and Network Integration. For its part, Evolutio also brings added value in the areas of Multi Cloud, Collaboration and Contact Center. The complementarity and enrichment of the offer will certainly be an asset for the customers of both companies”.

This step reflects the operation in a globalized market, where growth becomes mandatory. Joining a group with the size and recognition of Evolutio gives us greater relevance and the existing synergies will allow us to reinforce our position with large companies”, reveals Carlos Alves Duarte, CEO of Warpcom.

Jacinto Cavestany, CEO of Evolutio highlights that “We are very excited to have such a strongly consolidated partner in the neighboring country to grow and advance our ambition of becoming the main technological partner of Spanish and Portuguese companies with a global dimension. We are confident that Warpcom will help us in this mission and that, at the same time, we will help them to reinforce their own leadership”.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
