In a critical hospital environment, where operations can never stop and the margin for error is minimal, ULSTMAD (Unidade Local de Sa\u00fade de Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes e Alto Douro<\/em>) was beginning to face serious technological limitations.<\/p>

With a mission to serve approximately 370,000 people and 4,900 healthcare professionals<\/strong> in 3 hospitals<\/strong> and 23 health centers<\/strong>, the existing infrastructure needed to be upgraded and redesigned to reduce maintenance and operating costs, ensure greater security, greater visibility, and automated access control.<\/p>
