The achievement of the Master Services Competency (MSC) in Network Virtualization (NV) joins that of Data Center Virtualization (DCV), making Warpcom the only 100% Portuguese capital partner with two VMware MSCs and the only one with NV. This is the highest and most exclusive status in the VMware partner programme and Warpcom now joins the ranks of the world’s most technology-savvy technologists, opening up even more business opportunities globally at a time when demand for this type of expertise is growing substantially.
Lisbon, January 20th, 2021 – Warpcom, the Iberian technology integrator with 100% Portuguese capital, has just been recognised with the status of Master Services Competency in Network Virtualization by VMware, after having already been in Data Center Virtualization. This achievement adds to the 10 Solution Competencies – out of 12 existing – currently held by the company, making Warpcom the national partner with the largest number of VMware Competencies in a very prominent way.
VMware recognises its partners at two levels: the partnership level itself, where Warpcom is Advanced, and the second level which has to do with Solution Competencies (SC) and Master Services Competencies (MSC). It is in skills that Warpcom stands out, with 2 MSC and 10 SC.
This distinction opens up several opportunities for the technology integrator, on the one hand, by the various training actions for the team and, on the other hand, by the prominence given in the public tool Partner LocatorVMware’s own software, which allows those who seek to know the offer of partners of the manufacturer, to assess the qualifications and skills that partners operating in the market make available. Moreover, there are few talents in the market with these certifications compared to the demand from companies, which puts Warpcom in a privileged position.
“Obtaining and updating these skills embodies the continuous effort and investment we make in making our teams experts in VMware solutions and services, because they evidence that, both at pre-sales level and in our delivery capacity, they have the right knowledge and training to implement the solutions of this important partner.”explains Carlos Inocêncio, Chairman of Warpcom.
The continuous evolution of the partnership (since 2014) gives Warpcom a level of expertise that positions it at the forefront for projects based on VMware technology, especially at the level of Data Centre Transformation, Virtualisation and Automation; Network Virtualisation and Security; Public, Hybrid and Private Cloud Strategies; and Workplace Digitalisation and Mobility.
“We support organisations from requirements and needs analysis, to architecture and solution design, implementation and maintenance. The status achieved materialises what we can do and make available to our clients from a capability, know-how and value delivery point of view.”, points out Carlos Alves Duarte, Warpcom’s CEO.
In terms of individual certifications and accreditations, the Warpcom team currently holds 5 VCAP Certifications, 16 VCP Certifications, 10 Post-Sales Accreditations and 8 VMware Operations Professional.
“From day one, Warpcom has been committed to learning our technology to deliver the high level of innovation that Portuguese companies expect. Human capital is a critical success factor for any business, and Warpcom makes the best use of this, ensuring that it is prepared to support the digital transformation of its clients in the various technologies.” concludes Margarita Sanz, Channel Director Iberia at VMware.
